On the evening of October 29, the Chinese Embassy in Australia hosted a reception for the Australia China Business Council (ACBC) Canberra Networking Day 2025, during which Mr. Li Fanjie, Minister of the Embassy, was present and delivered remarks.

Mr. Li noted that over the past year, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, China-Australia relations have continued to improve. The business community has always been a key driving force in advancing our economic and trade cooperation and in translating the consensus of our leaders into tangible market opportunities, investment projects, jobs, and improved livelihoods. It is hoped that ACBC and the business communities of both countries will play an enhanced role and make further contributions to the sustained and mutually beneficial development of bilateral relations.

ACBC Chairman David Olsson attended the event, expressing sincere appreciation to the Embassy of China in Australia for its longstanding support. He encouraged the Australian business community to further deepen practical cooperation with China, contributing to a more stable and sustainable trajectory in bilateral relations.
The event was marked by a warm and cordial atmosphere, with over 140 participants—including the ACBC members and representatives from the business communities of both countries—gathering to strengthen cooperation and deepen mutual friendship.
