On October 29, Mr. Li Fanjie, Mnister of the Chinese Embassy, attended the Australia China Business Council (ACBC) Canberra Networking Day 2025, and delivered a keynote address.

Mr. Li noted that in recent years, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China-Australia relations have achieved a remarkable turnaround, bringing tangible benefits to our two peoples. The essence of China-Australia economic and trade relations is mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. The steady and healthy growth of the Chinese economy will create even more opportunities for cooperation and sustainable development, including for Australian companies.

Mr. Li emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between Chinese and Australian enterprises in traditional sectors such as energy, minerals, and agriculture, while encouraging joint efforts to explore emerging opportunities in green economy, high technology, and digital industries, as well as to promote further optimization of the business environment.
Australian Minister for Trade and Tourism Don Farrell, Leader of the Opposition Susan Ley, Shadow Minister for Trade Kevin Hogan, and other prominent Australian officials attended the event and delivered remarks. More than 140 ACBC members and representatives from the business communities of China and Australia participated in the event.
