On 12 October 2026, Ambassador Liu Jinsong paid a courtesy call on Senator the Hon Penny Wong, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia in the Australian Parliament House. The two sides exchanged views on developments in China-Australia bilateral relations, high-level exchanges and cooperation across various fields in the next stage.
