On 22 September, Ambassador Liu Jinsong visited Yutong Australia in Sydney. He listened to a briefing by the company's management, viewed its electric buses, and had discussions with the company's Australian business partner and local employees. Ambassador Liu extended Mid-Autumn Festival greetings to the employees and encouraged them in their work. Consul General Wang Yu of the Chinese Consulate-General in Sydney and others attended the visit.

The head of Vehicle International Distributors (VDI), Yutong's Australian distribution partner, said that Yutong buses were little known when they first entered the Australian market. However, thanks to their high product quality and reliable after-sales service, Yutong has become one of VDI's major business partners. “In recent years, we have grown and developed together with Yutong. Our cooperation has brought mutual benefits and win-win outcomes, while also creating a considerable number of jobs in Australia. We believe that more high-tech, high-quality, comfortable and environmentally friendly Chinese products will earn the respect and appreciation of the Australian people.”

Technical workers at Yutong Australia told Ambassador Liu that they had a great experience working at the company and was confident about its future. They hoped that his family and friends would one day travel on Yutong buses to visit the Great Barrier Reef and the rainforests of Queensland.
