Ambassador Xiao Qian Attends the 2025 Annual General Meeting of CCCA and Delivered a Keynote Speech

On December 11, Chinese Ambassador Xiao Qian attended the 2025 Annual General Meeting of CCCA (China Chamber of Commerce in Australia) and delivered a keynote speech.

Ambassador Xiao noted that Chinese enterprises are a vital force in deepening China–Australia economic cooperation, and have made positive contributions to Australia's economic growth and social development. He expressed the hope that CCCA would achieve even greater progress and make new contributions to enhancing the wellbeing of the peoples of both nations, elevating China–Australia economic cooperation in the coming year.  

Michael Growder, Acting Deputy Secretary of DFAT; Daniel Boyer, Deputy CEO of Trade and Investment of Austrade; David Olsson, National President of ACBC; Dianne Tipping, Chair of ECA, attended the meeting and delivered remarks. The Hon. Kevin Hogan MP, Shadow Minister for Trade and Tourism delivered a video remark.

The event gathered prominent attendees, including Chinese Consuls General in Australia, members of National Committee of CCCA, and representatives from CCCA member enterprises,with a total of 230 participants.
