At the invitation of Marcus Oldham College, Chinese Embassy in Australia once again participated in an online communication activity on 25 July 2023 following the first one in 2021. Ms. Han Xue, First Secretary of the Embassy delivered a guest lecture on the theme of "China-Australia Trade and Economic Relations" to the graduates of the international trade major of the College.

The lecture mainly reviewed the achievements of China-Australia economic and trade cooperation, introduced China's economic development policies and foreign cooperation policies, and analyzed the prospects of bilateral economic, trade and agricultural cooperation. The participants also exchanged views with the professors and students on some hot topics, including prospects for China and the world economy, China's economic development strategy and China's application for joining the CPTPP.
