On Nov. 14th, 2018 Panda Competition Presentation Ceremony was successfully held at the Chinese Embassy. Over 200 people including Minister Cai Wei, Mr. Yang Zhi, Minister-Counselor for Culture, diplomats of relevant offices of the Embassy, Mrs. Carol Keil, the president of Australia China Friendship Society, ACT Branch, students from 9 schools and their principals, teachers and parents attended the ceremony. The nine local schools were Canberra High School, Kingsford-Smith School, Torrens Primary School, Melrose High School, Mawson Primary School, John Paul College, Brindabella Christian College, Mt Rogers Primary School and Telopea Park School.

This year's topic was Chinese Musical Instruments. It attracted several hundred entries in forms of paintings, 3-dimensional constructions etc. 100 students from the nine schools were presented prizes and certificates.
